Cholesterol Pro Phosphoramidite is a non-fluorescent modifier used in oligonucleotide synthesis. It contains a cholesterol moiety attached to a hydroxyprolinol-based phosphoramidite. The hydroxyprolinol linker provides a rigid, non-nucleosidic scaffold for efficient incorporation of cholesterol at the 5' end of DNA or RNA sequences during automated solid-phase synthesis. Cholesterol conjugation enhances cellular uptake, improves nuclease resistance, and facilitates in vivo delivery of oligonucleotides.
