6-JOE Phosphoramidite, CHC protected is a fluorescent labeling reagent used in oligonucleotide synthesis. It contains a 6-carboxy-4',5'-dichloro-2',7'-dimethoxyfluorescein (6-JOE) fluorophore with a cyclohexylcarbonyl (CHC) protecting group on the phenolic hydroxyl groups of the JOE dye. The CHC protection enhances stability during synthesis and deprotection steps. It enables incorporation of the JOE label at the 5' end of DNA sequences during automated solid-phase synthesis, and is commonly used in multiplex PCR, DNA sequencing, and fragment analysis applications.
