Product Introduction
Iowa Black FQ Phosphoramidite is a dark quencher reagent used in oligonucleotide synthesis. It contains an Iowa Black FQ non-fluorescent chromophore attached to a phosphoramidite moiety, enabling efficient incorporation at the 5' end of DNA or RNA sequences during automated solid-phase synthesis. It efficiently quenches fluorescence in the 420-620 nm range via Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET), making it ideal for dual-labeled probe synthesis such as TaqMan probes, molecular beacons, and other real-time PCR applications.
