Product Introduction
Iowa Black RQ Alkyne is a dark quencher reagent used for bioorthogonal click chemistry. It contains an Iowa Black RQ non-fluorescent chromophore conjugated to an alkyne functional group. The alkyne moiety enables copper-catalyzed or strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition with azide-functionalized molecules. It efficiently quenches fluorescence in the 550-750 nm range via Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET), making it ideal for dual-labeled probe synthesis and bioconjugation applications.
