Product Introduction
BBQ-650 Azide is a dark quencher reagent used for bioorthogonal click chemistry. It contains a BlackBerry Quencher 650 (BBQ-650) non-fluorescent chromophore conjugated to an azide functional group. The azide moiety enables copper-catalyzed or strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition with alkyne-functionalized molecules. It efficiently quenches fluorescence in the 550-750 nm range via Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET), making it ideal for dual-labeled probe synthesis and bioconjugation applications.
