By-5 Pro Phosphoramidite is a fluorescent labeling reagent used in oligonucleotide synthesis. It contains a By-5 fluorophore attached to a hydroxyprolinol-based phosphoramidite moiety. The hydroxyprolinol linker provides a rigid, non-nucleosidic scaffold for efficient incorporation of the By-5 label at the 5' end of DNA or RNA sequences during automated solid-phase synthesis. It is commonly used in multiplex PCR, DNA sequencing, and fragment analysis applications.
