Product Introduction
6-ROX Pro Phosphoramidite is a fluorescent labeling reagent used in oligonucleotide synthesis. It contains a 6-carboxy-X-rhodamine (6-ROX) fluorophore attached to a hydroxyprolinol-based phosphoramidite moiety. The hydroxyprolinol linker provides a rigid, non-nucleosidic scaffold for efficient incorporation of the ROX label at the 5' end of DNA or RNA sequences during automated solid-phase synthesis. It is commonly used in multiplex PCR, DNA sequencing, fragment analysis, and fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) applications.
