Application
Phosphate CPG 1000 solid support is a phosphitylated controlled-pore glass (CPG) solid support designed for nucleic acid chemistry workflows where immobilized phosphoramidite chemistry or phosphate-bearing linkages are required during automated oligonucleotide synthesis and related polymer conjugation. The CPG format provides a robust, flow-friendly solid phase that supports reproducible loading and downstream processing, making it a practical choice for researchers building oligonucleotide constructs, phosphate-functional materials, and solid-phase conjugation intermediates.
1. Oligonucleotide Synthesis Support
Phosphate CPG 1000 solid support is used in automated DNA/RNA synthesis workflows when a phosphate-containing solid-phase intermediate or a phosphate-bearing linkage strategy is needed. Researchers and core facilities rely on the CPG format for consistent handling in synthesizers, enabling scalable preparation of oligonucleotides and modified nucleic acid reagents that incorporate phosphate functionalities for subsequent hybridization, labeling, or conjugation steps.
2. Phosphate-Functional Conjugate Building
Phosphate CPG 1000 solid support is applied as a solid-phase platform to generate phosphate-functional building blocks for downstream bioconjugation and materials assembly. In chemical biology and biomaterials development, teams use the immobilized phosphate chemistry to prepare intermediates that can be carried forward into coupling workflows, including construction of phosphate-presenting linkers for nucleic acid conjugates, surface-tethered reagents, and phosphate-modified polymer or biomaterial components.
3. Solid-Phase Immobilization Chemistry
Phosphate CPG 1000 solid support serves as a practical substrate for immobilizing phosphate-related motifs during solid-phase reaction development. Biomaterials scientists and assay developers use CPG supports to prepare tethered reagents and intermediate surfaces where phosphate groups are incorporated into the immobilized architecture, supporting workflows such as preparing functionalized capture materials for nucleic acid workflows and building phosphate-containing interfaces for research-grade reagent platforms.
4. Nucleic Acid Probe Intermediate Preparation
Phosphate CPG 1000 solid support is commonly incorporated into workflows that generate nucleic acid probe intermediates requiring phosphate-associated features for later labeling or assay assembly. Molecular imaging and nucleic acid analysis groups use this solid support to streamline the production of modified oligonucleotide components used in probe construction, enabling consistent solid-phase processing prior to final conjugation, purification, and assay-ready formulation.
