Product Introduction
Iowa Black RQ Pro CPG is a dark quencher reagent immobilized on controlled pore glass (CPG) support for oligonucleotide synthesis. It contains an Iowa Black RQ non-fluorescent chromophore attached to a hydroxyprolinol-based linker. The CPG solid support enables incorporation of the Iowa Black RQ quencher at the 3' end of DNA or RNA sequences during automated solid-phase synthesis. It efficiently quenches fluorescence in the 500-700 nm range via Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET), making it ideal for dual-labeled probe synthesis such as TaqMan probes, molecular beacons, and other real-time PCR applications.
