Product Introduction
Iowa Black FQ CPG is a dark quencher reagent immobilized on controlled pore glass (CPG) support for oligonucleotide synthesis. The CPG solid support enables incorporation of the Iowa Black FQ quencher at the 3' end of DNA or RNA sequences during automated solid-phase synthesis. It efficiently quenches fluorescence in the 420-620 nm range via Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET), making it ideal for dual-labeled probe synthesis such as TaqMan probes, molecular beacons, and other real-time PCR applications.
