Product Introduction
Cyanine7-S Azide chloride is a fluorescent labeling reagent used for bioorthogonal click chemistry. It contains a Cyanine7 (Cy7) fluorophore with a sulfur-containing modification (S), conjugated to an azide functional group, with chloride as the counterion. The azide moiety enables copper-catalyzed or strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition with alkyne-functionalized molecules. It is used for near-infrared fluorescence labeling of proteins, peptides, and oligonucleotides.
