Cyanine5 Azide tetrafluoroborate is a fluorescent labeling reagent used for bioorthogonal click chemistry. It contains a Cyanine5 (Cy5) fluorophore conjugated to an azide functional group, with tetrafluoroborate as the counterion. The azide moiety enables copper-catalyzed or strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition with alkyne-functionalized molecules. It is used for labeling proteins, peptides, and oligonucleotides.
