Product Introduction
6-TAMRA-PEG2-Azide is a fluorescent labeling reagent used for bioorthogonal click chemistry. It contains a 6-carboxytetramethylrhodamine (6-TAMRA) fluorophore attached to an azide functional group via a diethylene glycol (PEG2) linker. The PEG2 linker provides flexibility and hydrophilicity, while the azide moiety enables copper-catalyzed or strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition with alkyne-functionalized molecules. It is used for labeling proteins, peptides, and oligonucleotides.
