Product Introduction
MitoLumina 780 is a cell-permeant carbocyanine fluorescent dye specifically designed for labeling active mitochondria in live cells. It contains a mildly thiol-reactive chloromethyl group that allows it to covalently bind to mitochondrial proteins, ensuring retention even after cell fixation and permeabilization. The dye has an absorption maximum (Abs) at 784 nm and an emission maximum (Em) at 813 nm, making it suitable for multicolor imaging applications alongside other fluorescent probes.
