Product Introduction
Riba Green is an ultra-sensitive fluorescent nucleic acid dye for the quantitative detection of RNA in solution. It is particularly important for the detection and quantification of trace RNA in a large number of molecular biology experiments, including in vitro transcribed RNA yield measurement, and RNA concentration measurement before Northern Blot, S1 nuclease assay, RNase protection assay, cDNA library preparation, reverse transcription PCR, and differential display PCR. Riba Green quantifies RNA at concentrations as low as 1 ng/ml using a fluorometer, standard fluorophotometer or filter fluorometer. The probe combined with RNA with a maximum excitation wavelength of 500 nm and a maximum emission wavelength of 525 nm.
