Product Introduction

DAPI is a fluorescent DNA stain that binds to the minor groove of double-stranded DNA with preference for adenine and thymine (AT) rich DNA. DAPI is commonly used in microscopy and flow cytometry. It can be used on either fixed or live cells, although it crosses membranes in live cells less efficiently and demands higher concentrations to be used.
