sulfo-Cyanine7.5

What We Offer

sulfo-Cyanine7.5

BOC Sciences is committed to providing customers with high-quality sulfo-cyanine7.5 dyes.

Sulfo-Cyanine7.5 is a class of near-infrared water-soluble hydrophilic dyes for near-infrared imaging applications. These dyes are blue to dark blue blocks or powders, and the specific fluorescence color is determined by their derivatives. Sulfo-Cyanine7.5 dyes have a structure and spectrum similar to indolyanine green (ICG), which have been approved for use in humans for many years. However, unlike ICG, Sulfo-Cyanine7.5 dyes contain a trimethylene bridge, which gives them higher quantum yields compared to ICG. The dyes also have a linker arm in their structure for binding to proteins, peptides and other molecules. The structural formula of ICG is shown in Fig.1 and the structural formula of sulfo-Cyanine7.5 is shown in Fig.2.

Characteristics of Sulfo-Cyanine7.5 Dyes

Sulfo-Cyanine7.5 dyes have a maximum excitation wavelength of 788 nm and a maximum emission wavelength of 808 nm, and are often used for in vivo near-infrared imaging because they easily penetrate tissues. At the molecular level, they can be modified accordingly and can be used to label various biomolecules, such as proteins, polypeptides, etc., to track their distribution in the body. Sulfo-Cyanine7.5 dyes have the advantages of large molar absorption coefficient, high fluorescence quantum yield, and good stability. As a near-infrared fluorescent probe, they have been widely used in protein and nucleic acid labeling, gene sequencing, animal in vivo imaging and clinical imaging. Sulfo-Cyanine7.5 dyes are very water-soluble and can be directly used in aqueous phase labeling reaction systems without the need for organic solvent assistance, especially suitable for labeling organic solvent sensitive biomolecules. In addition, due to the strong charge of water-soluble dye-adding molecules, sulfo-Cyanine7.5 dyes will not cause hydrophobic aggregation after being labeled on the surface of biomolecules, thus improving the stability of fluorescent labeling products.

Application of Sulfo-Cyanine7.5 Dyes

Sulfo-Cyanine7.5 dyes have few derivatives, which can mainly be used for the labeling and modification of peptide compounds, organic small molecules, polyethylene glycol (PEG) and other substances. In addition, studies have shown that Sulfo-Cyanine7.5 can also be used as a fluorescent tracer and specific fluorescent probe for malignant tumor surgery. In order to accurately identify the local invasive scope of the tumor, check the radical effect of resection, find new cancerous nodules, and exclude the malignant nature of superficial nodules suspected by preoperative imaging examination.
