Product Introduction
PY1 (SML0676, Peroxy Yellow 1) is a fluorescent probe that detects hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) and peroxynitrite (ONOO⁻). It is a total cellular probe used for flow cytometric and fluorescence microscopy assessment of oxidative stress. PY1 is excited at 488 nm and emits at 510 nm, making it compatible with standard fluorescein filter sets. It has been employed to measure H₂O₂ levels in T-lymphocytes, endothelial cells, and various other cell types under different physiological and pathological conditions.
