BODIPY FL C5 is a green-fluorescent dye that is reactive with primary amines on biomolecules such as peptides, proteins, modified nucleotides and biopolymers. It is suitable for live-cell membrane experiments. This carboxylic acid may react with amines using a carbodiimide like EDAC or DIPC and to form ester-linked conjugates or acid-halide products. It is relatively insensitive to environment and pH changes.
