PH Probes

What We Offer

PH Probes

pH Sensor

We offer both an absorption (colorimetric) and fluorescence emission wavelength ratiometric pH Probe, which responds over the pH range 6-8, making it ideal for physiological measurements, such as cellular studies, imaging and microscopy. pH Probe shows an absorption wavelength ratiometric response to pH in the 325 – 450 nm range and a fluorescence emission wavelength ratiometric response from 400-700 nm. The Quantum yield is ~0.5.

pH Control Fluorophore

We also offer a pH-controlled fluorescent compound that has the same chromophore fluorescence backbone but is minimally affected by pH. For researchers and doctors who perform pH analysis, any background interference from the parent fluorophore can be corrected without changing any fluorescent instrument or filter settings. Subsequently, it does not have any proportional response to cyanide. It can be easily excited at 375 - 450 nm with an emission center of 560 nm.

Advantages of the fluorescence-wavelength ratio measurement method

Fluorescence ratios or lifetime-based methods have provided inherent advantages for chemical and biomedical fluorescence sensing, which has been widely accepted. Simple fluorescence intensity measurements are often unreliable away from the laboratory and may require frequent calibration due to a variety of chemical, optical or other instrumentation related factors. Unfortunately, although fluorescent probes are known to be useful in many applications, such as in fluorescence microscopy, fluorescence sensing, and DNA technology, most sensing fluorophores exhibit changes in intensity only in response to analytes, so today There are relatively few wavelength ratio probes available. Our range of sensing probes (cyanide, pH and fluoride) offers significant advantages in both excitation (colorimetric) and emission wavelength ratio methods with excitation and emission wavelengths within a user-friendly range.
